About me

I am a game designer and narrative designer who lives in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I've been active in the game industry since 2015 and worked on the following shipped titles:
  • Fabulous Angela's Fashion Fever (PC, iOS, Android)
  • Fabulous Angela's High School Reunion (PC, iOS, Android)
  • Fabulous Angela's Wedding Disaster (PC, iOS, Android)

I specialize in designing games with stories, combining the two so that narrative and interaction amplify each other. For the games I've worked on so far, I've done numerous tasks, including:
  • Designing the game and player experience
  • Creating individual levels and events for the player
  • Writing story & dialogue (over 200 pages per game!)
  • Animating & timing cutscenes
  • Of course, implementation and bugfixing!

I've worked on a variety of games, from mobile time-management games, to text-based surreal horror adventures, to pixel-art indie platformers. I have experience with using in-house software, as well as common game engines like Unity.

I'm a perfectionist with a sense of humor who loves to work on games, and to tell stories with them. No challenge is too great.
